This is a new and ongoing investigation into the audiences of art. The two books went on trips with me, the blue beige book traveled to Chicago and the red orange book accompanied me to Istanbul.
The Chicago book was signed by visitors during the first Friday of the month gallery openings and the subsequent days of my 10 day itinerary.
The Istanbul book came about during the 9th Istanbul Biennale.

The directions were simple but often lost in translation. Give me a word write it anywhere on the book you wish then sign your initials. All participants were then handed a gold or black pen.

Now it is my job to analyze what has appeared. is an art crowd somehow the same? I picked two major metropolitan cities. However the inherent cultures couldn't be further apart. But are they really? Does the culture of a city effect the randomness of selecting one word?

No words were shared across the two books, although Imagination appeared twice on the Chicago book and the word Okay found its way 3 times in different languages on the Istanbul book.
